Skittles :: Mix the Rainbow

The Obstacle:  When diving into Tween space, we are presented with two obstacles.  1. Entering their space without invading it 2. Find a message they connect to.

The Strategy: With a few above the bar ideas, and by keeping our focus on relevancy, Agency.com was able to deliver a personalized music mixer to the Skittles audience. Each element of the Skittles Mixer is an important part of the Skittles brand.  Users can pick and choose the pieces they like to incorporate into their beat and leave behind the ones they don’t.  Essentially, we describe this as ‘putting the brand in their hands’.

The Result: An original Skittles Mixer.  Users can create their own beats using the branded Skittles sound effects and save their music to share on a hosting site or embed the remix on their own Facebook page.  The mixer is also available as an application via Facebook.
